All coaches Uprise employs are registered psychologists or counsellors, who have completed at least 4 years of study and training in the field.

Additionally, many coaches are clinical psychologists, who have completed specialist training on top of what’s required for general registration. 

We do not allow coaches to freely join Uprise. All coaches are interviewed and must pass skills tests of their therapy and coaching skills to ensure that they can provide high quality support. They also receive coaching training before starting. 

Coaches are required to attend supervision with a senior Uprise clinical psychologist and have to complete regular ongoing training to stay up to date with recent approaches in order to keep their registration.
